Last Breath review
By mrs.molko

Thunderbird Stadium, Vancouver, B.C., Canada, 07/14/99.

Although the sound on Last Breath isn't the best (it sounds very distant; & Courtney's vocals are more prominent over the actual music) it's still worth a listen for the talking between the band & the audience. Since the show was recorded in Canada, there is a lot of talk about Melissa. At one point Melissa breaks out and starts singing "Blame Canada," later Courtney informs everyone that they "are an arrogant band because they have a Canadian in it. And because they are the best band in the whole entire world and she doesn't have any testicles." Pretty much typical Courtney things to say, but they are still humorous to hear. Another funny part is when Courtney & Melissa are meowing and making all sorts of cat noises.
This is also a nice boot for the Doughboy cover of "Shine" and the extended version of Miss World.
Overall: The sound isn't that great, it's very distant but you can still tell what is being said. I would only recommend this bootleg to people who are huge collectors & want them all, who like to collect rare songs/covers or to people who are trying to hear onstage banter. If you're going for soundboard quality then this one isn't for you.
